Yesterday, I bitched about the spam phone calls and that I might miss some important ones because of these false calls. Today, and it is not even 11am, could do the same and rant about the spam emails. I just got one which I have not seen before, but therefore who knows was it real or not but seemed important. - First I looked at the links ( without clicking) and could not decide it was false or not. - Next step, googled the subject line. Nothing relevant really came up. - Googled the link domain, so I can see it is legit or not. Still not really black or white. But I decided to forget the email and move on. Do you how much time I spent just to decided to click or not? Wayyyy too much!!!!! The same will happen with emails and phone calls. Slowly we all will ignore it, and the good, important will go down the drain as well. :-(

The phone rings. Strange looking number, but you still pick it up. You suspect a scam. They ask for you as the owner of the business and your answer is : She is not available right now, can I help you? . Have you done this before? :-)

I had two very sad conversations today. The first prospective client was telling me about her bad experiences with web designers, one who just disappeared in the middle of projects and the other who got a corporate job and left her with an unfinished website. And of course, she was very suspicious about hiring somebody again. I hate to hear and defend our industry reputation. I feel that if I am not able to finish a project, I find somebody who would. :-( My other sad story from a different phone call, when the website owner told me that she had 1 phone call only in 5 years because they found her website. How sad it is? :-( I am working on many good looking websites, which are completely not SEO friendly. And the poor owner has no clue it won't bring no business to her unless we fix it. Anybody has similar experiences?

While cleaning out my basement, I found a pair of black boots which i have not wore at least 3 years. Being a woman I have two choices. 1. Say an emotional goodbye to them or 2. Get fired up and find an occasion ASAP to ware them. 3. Do i have any other option? Which one would you do, or should I do?
