I am helping a local salon with their online accounts, like Google listings, FB page, Instagram, etc. The frustrating part is that the previous owner created accounts which the new owner does not have access to. So now I am trying to request to take down the old, abandoned FB page and connect the business name to the new account. It is over a month now and still did not happen. So frustrating!!! !!!! If you take over a business, make sure that you have access to all their social media accounts, yelp, BBB and many others. It is a pain to prove that you are the rightful owner if you need login info to the account. Total Bummer! !!!!!

When you are always working on somebody else's website, your own website gets neglected. I have to admit that I feel bad about it, but mine is always the last to think about. But, when a friend told me two days ago, that she could not read the article that I wrote about online reviews because it was on a dark background, it hit me. Thank you, Bianka! What I wanted to do for years, changing the site colors, happened a couple of hours ago, only because somebody gave me her honest opinion. ( which I also agreed to) Feedback from good people is always helping. Those move me forward, kick my a.... and let appreciate honesty and friendship. Keep it coming!!

Where do you spend your marketing time and energy? How do visitors find your website? Social media, Google, newsletter, referrals....? If you spend 80% of your marketing energy on social media, but the result is poor, what do you do? Do you continue with double energy or do you start focusing on something else?
