It is powerful feeling, even if it is not perfect, but YOU DID IT, with your own hand. It empowers you to be a creator. It makes you believe that you are a craftsman ( not really, but the feeling is like that) Many of us are not in the position to create with our own hands, ( besides cooking and baking :-) and we all miss that. IKEA gave you the tools and design to CREATE something big. I love them for this! . After 70 years, starting in 1951, and millions of copy, and thousand of inspirational ideas and designs, IKEA quietly stopped sending out the famous catalog. Customer's habits and lifestyles changed and the printed catalog got outdated in this digital world. Small and big businesses need to inovate and create changes. Even if it is hard. IKEA made the emotional decision to waste more energy into something that does not work anymore. . Goodbye and see you on the other side!
