Did you know that having a lot of likes on your FB or Instagram post, do not help boost your website ranking? No. That is not a social signal for Google. But having a post linked to your website from any of your Social media page, and shared, it is. Of course, the best is to encourage your social media followers to visit your website following the link in the post.

I just received a really nice review on my SEO service from a local gift store. "I started working with Monika on my website's SEO about 4 months ago, and I've already seen results. I went from not appearing in google rankings to top 3 in my area, and she's made important tweeks to my website which I'm confident will help people locate my brick and mortar store more easily now. Monika is wonderful to work with, she has great vision, communicates well with her clients and is just excellent at what she does. Highly recommend!" Thank you Holly Kenny!

I am trying to persuade a client not to have that one long page website. I know it looks good and fancy, but cannot be optimized most of the time. Why not? If you have all your services, and about information and homepage info, etc... there is no focus keyword, it is just a big chaos for Google. If you do not care for Google, or offer one service only then it is fine, but otherwise, please do not have that long page website.

Do you think it is important to ask your clients to leave you an online review? If your answer is Not important, please think about it again. Online reviews show up directly in search results, so if you have several positive, 4-5 star reviews than you are already better off than your competitors with 0 review.

Where do you spend your marketing time and energy? How do visitors find your website? Social media, Google, newsletter, referrals....? If you spend 80% of your marketing energy on social media, but the result is poor, what do you do? Do you continue with double energy or do you start focusing on something else?
