You have to plan ahead how you want people to interact with your website. So they visit all the important pages, they read about different services or products, so they warm up to buy from you or engage in a conversation with you. If you find a page where people get stuck or leave right away, work on it! Create links to other pages, change the page content, add video, or additional information ... make the page more engaging. Keep in mind, what separates a professional-looking site from a DIY-looking website is the consistency of font, color, and layout. Decide of the color, and font for the Header text and don't change that page by page, paragraph by paragraph. Choose the color and font of the regular paragraph and do not change that either. :-) ------ This small thing will give you a more consistent look all-around your website.

I would like to clarify something which seems confusing for many. Just because there is an SEO plugin added to a WP website, it is not SEO friendly. These plugins like Yoast, SEOPress, or All in One SEO are just tools and give guidelines and help to show what might be missing on the webpage. There is no wonder plugin which would rank the site on Google first page. No. You need to add the keywords, the title, the meta descriptions, the alt tags, the links, the H tags, etc... The plugins just help to show what is still missing.
